Privacy at Ground Datum
This page describes the current holding website and project email. Public participation, account creation, and infrastructure evidence submission have not opened.
Current operator
Ground Datum Foundation is in formation. Ric Orna currently operates this prerelease project, controls the domains and brand assets, and is responsible for the website and project correspondence until documented assignment to a formed entity.
Website data
The site has no account system, application form, advertising tracker, or analytics script. Cloudflare, the hosting platform, and nginx may process ordinary security and delivery logs such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, response status, user agent, referring page, and network-security events.
Logs are used only for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, incident response, and aggregate operational understanding. Ground Datum does not sell website-log data or use it for behavioral advertising. Provider-level retention and lawful-access obligations may also apply.
Email correspondence
If you email Ground Datum, the current operator receives the address, headers, message, and attachments you choose to send. Correspondence is used to respond, route pilot interest, preserve decisions, and handle privacy, safety, legal, or security concerns.
Routine correspondence should be deleted when no longer operationally useful and ordinarily within 24 months. Records may be kept longer when needed for consent, safety, security, legal obligations, disputes, or documented project history. Do not send infrastructure evidence, medical records, private victim information, credentials, or secrets through the prerelease contact address.
Public-participation boundary
This policy does not authorize field collection or describe the future contributor product. Before participation opens, Ground Datum must publish reviewed account, contribution, image-license, evidence-retention, moderation, safety, case-publication, deletion, and appeal terms. Detailed evidence originals and unresolved condition cases will not become public merely because they were submitted.
Your request
You may ask what project correspondence is held about you, request correction or deletion where applicable, withdraw consent for future mission-story publication, or report a privacy concern. Email privacy@grounddatum.org. Security reports should go to security@grounddatum.org.
Changes
This notice will change before accounts or public participation open. Material revisions will carry a new effective date and must reflect the actual deployed system rather than planned capabilities.
